Long Reef Golf Club has launched an ambassador program for 2017/18. The ambassadors are all local sports and media talent that are influential in our community. As a LRGC Ambassador, their role is to promote Long Reef Golf Club as a casual golfing/social/private function venue, invite guests to LRGC and promote playing membership of LRGC as an active member.
We will be hosting a Sports Luncheon later in the year where our three ambassadors will be guest speakers. A second club function will be scheduled in early 2018 also involving our three ambassadors.

Andrew Daddo is a golf tragic and possible part time psychic who decided years ago that if there was a way to turn golf into a career he would attempt to find it. On the way to being part of Fox Sports’ Golf Show, Andrew’s covered two Olympic Games, travelled for The Great Outdoors, presented some good and not so good TV shows from The World’s Greatest Commercials to MTV in the United States. But, truth be told, there are three things that truly light him up.
Family first, golf and writing.
Andrew’s got three kids who are finally old enough to not notice (or be fussed) if he’s missing on Saturday mornings for the odd round of golf. He hosts The Golf Show for Fox Sports, writes for
Golf Australia Magazine and has twenty-six books for kids and young adults to his name. He’s been playing at Long Reef since coming to Sydney from Melbourne twenty years ago and is a believer that if the golf’s no good, the scenery from the fairways of Longy is better than anywhere else on the Northern Beaches.
