What are the minimum and maximum guest numbers for a celebration of life?
Guest numbers depend on the selected function room at Long Reef Golf Club.
- Reef Room: suitable for 25 to 45 guests
- Pacific Room: suitable for 50 to 180 guests
Does the package include catering?
Catering is not included in the Celebration of Life package. Catering in our wake venue can be added to your booking, with a range of options available to suit the style and timing of your gathering.
Which catering options or menu styles are available?

Available options include:
- Light option at $35 per person, including a choice of three canapés and a tea and coffee station
- Substantial option at $50 per person, including a choice of five canapés and a tea and coffee station
Additional catering selections are also available, including upgraded canapé menus, beverages on consumption such as wines, beers and spirits, cheese platters, fruit platters and a selection of sweet treats. Menu options are subject to availability.
Is there a non-refundable deposit or payment required?
Yes. All functions held at Long Reef Golf Club require a non-refundable venue hire fee to secure the booking.
Venue hire fees are as follows:
- Reef Room: $600
- Pacific Room: $1,000 (or $1,500 for a service and wake)
Do you provide staff for the event?
